- Yamaha Boost Technology™ (YBT) - The unit boosts output by adding battery voltage to alternator when needed. The Boost Control Unit (BCU) senses when extra power is needed and boosts the output for up to 10 seconds (up to 500 watts), ample time to give air conditioners, power tools and equipment that extra boost of power they need to start quickly and efficiently.

Battery Maintenance
Disconnect your battery if you are not using your RV over an extended period of time
Never overcharge or attempt to charge batteries that are frozen.
Monitor your battery on a regular basis (Monthly inspections recommended) to ensure your battery, terminals and cables are free of corrosion, dirt and abnormal wear.
Check if your terminals are properly connected - tighten and secure as required
Monitor the level in your battery on a monthly basis and replenish as required with distilled water.
Keep the battery and container terminals clean of corrosion, oil and dirt using 50/50 solution of baking soda and water.
Also... Consider using Solar Panels as a secondary source of power
